One Weeklong International webinar on “Honouring Student Diversities: Mechanisms and Practices”- Joint venture of TNTEU, Chennai & N.S.S.TC, Pandalam, Kerala-Sept 13th –Sept 19th,2020

Centre for Capacity Building Programmes for School Teachers , Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University(TNTEU), Chennai and Internal Quality Assurance Cell( IQAC), N.S.S.Training College, Pandalam, Kerala have jointly organized a seven days International Webinar on“Honouring Student Diversities: Mechanisms and Practices”from September 13th to September19th2020 in a thriving manner.

The organizing secretary of the webinar, Dr.T. SivasakthiRajammal, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Psychology & Coordinator, Centre for Capacity Building Programmes for School Teachers, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University(TNTEU), Chennai welcomed the honourable guests and the esteemed gathering. The theme of the webinar was brilliantly presented by Dr.Ranjini Devi S, Asst. Prof & Coordinator, Internal Quality Assurance Cell( IQAC), N.S.S.Training College, Pandalam, Kerala.

Prof. Dr. N. Panchanatham, honourable Vice-Chancellor, Tamilnadu Teachers Education University(TNTEU), Chennai and the patron of the webinar, has presided over the inaugural function and delivered the presidential address. In his speech, he has rightly talked about how diversity plays a vital role in the human progress and development, citing examples from real life.

Dr. R. Vijayakumar, Regional Director – Eastern Regional Committee, Deputy Secretary: Academic, Regulation and Legal Division, NCTE, Dwarka Sector-10, New Delhi-110075, has presided over the Validictory function and delivered the electrifyingpresidential address, Prof. M. Govindan, Dean of Faculty and Head, Dept. of Educational Psychology, Tamilnadu Teachers Education University(TNTEU), Chennai has delivered magnificent valedictory message.

Dr. P. Subramanian, Asst. Prof.,Tamilnadu Teachers Education University(TNTEU), Chennai proposed the vote of thanks for the inaugural session.Dr. S. ArockiaElizebeth Josephine, Asst.Prof., Stella Matutina College of Education, Chennai proposed the vote of thanks for the Validictory Session.Dr.Sreelekha.L and Dr. Sreevidya Nair. N ,Assistant Professors, NSS Training College,Pandalam, Kerela did the compering on the inaugural and valedictory sessions of the webinar.

There were 2456participants registered and actively participated in the live sessions of the webinar on all the seven days. The enthusiastic participants consisted of dignitaries and scholars from 23states of India and 17countries all over the world.
